Belle Clair in 2011....Lets give ideas on what to change

There is no since wishing for dashes for everybody because there is no time, but for a interesting twist how about this:
Desinate a number to each class such as 1.LM 2.Mod 3.Sport 4.PS 5.Pro 4
Each week somebody rolls the dice. Lets say its number 2, that class (mods) runs a dash all other classes line up by dice roll like they did last year.

yeah maybe townhomes would be better, with a little coffee shop so the people can talk about what use to be there.....

dirtfag you sir are no racing fan by any means you should be ashamed to even think you may be one just know you do talk an awful lot kinda like a keyboard warrior remember can you back in all in person? cause remember the people of the racing community are so ready to meet you :) im talkin **** and letting you wonder when your day will come for karma...... Belleville is a great place theres no need to tear it down its a fun track btw Kyle McMahon

Keep pill draw for heats....guy starts in back but makes it to third.Starts back row of dash.Makes it to lead and wins.Stars front row pole.WHY.Because he earned it.No lottery or any of that crap!Now.....as we all know if he can survive lap traffic, the guy on your butt, you earned yourself a feature win at the world famous bel-vegas speedway.DONT make this like bracket drag racing cause I wont pay a dime to watch that crap!K.I.S.S. keep it simple stupid

$10 dollars admission, and cheaper food would be a great start..........pig in a poke isnt cutting it ...........maybe bring back the beer cart guy on one side of the track, just make that side 21 and up maybe...........good job at ideas guys, sounds like everyone has some good stuff to add to this.

I am a driver at Belle clair when your on the infield it will be nice to have something to drink down there and sometimes we can't get out and get back in before our races. I think Donnie H. will do a really good job for the Belle Clair racing you guys need to give him a chance it can't be no worse then it was.

From what I understand and please don't hold me to it there will be no more infield pit area. The outer pit area will be reconfigured.

i heard that to about the pits. also heard pig in the poke has something to do with the liquor license. thats why they have to stay. thats what i was told. dont know for sure

All of these have seemed like some pretty good ideas so far. Getting more fans in the stands will be the key for 2011. I like how some have mentioned that alot of people dont even know we are there on fridays or if they know something is going on they may not know exactly what it is.

What about come close to the 2011 season they try to have a car show down at the fairgrounds out in the parking lot near the main road so the cars can be seen easily from the road. This may attract people to stop in and see the cars up close and maybe learn more about what takes place every friday at the track. If some are driving by with there kids in the car and they see the race cars most of the time kids will want to go see these cars and what not. Which in return may get the parent interested enough to come out and attend one night. Maybe at the show had out something like one free admission with a paid adult that is valid for say the first 2 or 3 weeks? That would probably get people in the stands as well. How many i dont know but what does it hurt? You gotta try something these days. As people have stated the kids are the future of this sport.

I think a lot of people know there is racing going on in the city of Belleville on a Friday night as it can be heard for miles with the wind moving it. The local newpaper prints the results in the Friday copy.

Car show at the fairgrounds is a good idea, but there are a lot of cars shows around the area that try to promote the racing in the area. Still a good idea to be on the track grounds with plenty of room.

There are some changes coming for Belle Clair and you'll just have to see what there are when they get announce. Change is good and bad as we all know, but work with whatever they may be.
They may not be what anyone as suggested, but they are thought to be for the good.

Gone are the days of being able to see your favorite Late Model driver in the pits after the races. By the time the last race is run most of the LM guys are packed up and long gone. I miss the beer guy in the stands and talking to Ed Dixon in the pit after the races. Now that was a classy fan friendly guy !

this will never happen but maybe a firm could come in, tear down the backstretch stands and the front stretch for that matter and make a whole new modern front stretch stands and new bathrooms. I know a few elderly and handicapped people have a hard time getting up them stands and they dont have any place for their backs to rest on except the top row.
..........yeah im really suprised the old stands are standing.wonder how many coats of paint they have on them.something more modern would be better i agree craig
