Belle Clair in 2011....Lets give ideas on what to change

first of all, i love tradition, but the racetrack is also a place of business. yeah, it's got the feel of the track just as it was some 30/40 plus years ago, but you gotta improve with the times. people expect more for their money these days, and they have a right to expect more. the racing is great, and the ol' girl retains alot of her ol' charm, but the facilities s u c k. the food and service is horrible, and you hold your breath when you go use the restroom. God help you if ya gotta go number 2, i dont think i could hold my nose that long. it's downright disgusting. paying fans expect more than that if you wanna keep them there for an evening or keep them coming back most weeks. there are people that are going to bash me for picking on minor things, but i am a race fan. i will forgive alot if the show is good. the casual fan will not forgive. they will spend their $ elsewhere. you need all types of fans, casual, hard core, 1st timers; you need them all. and you need them happy, and wanting to come back. upgrade the facilities, folks. other sports venues have, and will continue. they have to to survive. the track must, too!!!

.... and they will continue not to do so until they upgrade the place's basics... look at what sfcr did a few years back; look at what tcs is doing as we speak. take a hint.................

get some coffee midget racer the expo hall is open all year around you could pack the the track all year around and it still won't bring in the expo hall plus tri city is PRIVATELY OWNED Belle claire is not again who has the money you make the big bucks you fix it up lmao maybe when the track pics a couple sponsors that MIGHT happen

If the restrooms are as bad as everyone is saying maybe the HEALTH DEPT. needs to be notified.
I think this would be a matter of human safety.

they are not that bad charlie bowl comes to mind and definetly white city before the new restrooms even fairbury and midget racer I know he hasn't been to a 90's world 100 weekend lmfao

Midget Racer...
Excellent 6:56 post. I can't imagine what the ladies have to put up with in their restroom since they have to sit down on those nasty seats. I can tell you if my wife went in there and it's as bad as the mens, she would never go back to Belleclair again. Both of us would be going elsewhere. I don't know who leases that track and runs it, but surely they know the place is run down and needs major updates. Last year I went to Pevely at least 15 times. The track is well prepared and fast, the concessions are good at a fair price and the new restrooms they put in a couple of years ago are nice. I only went to Tri City once last year but plan on going several times in 2011 because of Kevin & Tammy's major improvements. Even if it costs a couple of bucks more to pay for those improvements.

anybody home its a fairgrounds track and by the way there is a restroom right outside the track by turn 4 and those are not as near as nasty as some tracks

Dirt hound... Are you saying that because it's a Fairgrounds track that the quality of the facility is not what a privately owned track is?

Tri City's current improvements are great, but I agree with an earlier poster that the stands are in real bad shape. I'd bet money that Kevin & Tammy already have plans on the drawing board for new stands within the next few years. With making the track 3/8 mile and all of the current and future updates Tri City is going to be the premier track in the area before too long. Kevin & Tammy "get it".

could be the tracks hasn't made them any money or near as much as the expo hall maybe the man in charge before had something to do with it hopefully Donnie get it back up to speed also there is a reason not many sponsors have supported the track in the past the track was hard to work with for sponsorship I worked for a company that wanted to sponsor the track but neg , was difficult to say the least may be that will change
