hey bleedblue

If Kloos gets away with it give Nick a try it will not decrease you tire life.People are prepping tires in all classes except maybe the four banger cars. This will blow up if they dont penalize Kloos.

but does the chemical extend tire life? I dont think so!

You couldnt be more wrong. Go get the facts before you make statements like this. It will and does extend tire life. I raced karts for 5 years and have personal experience to this.

Im not sure why you people are arguing about what treating tires does thats not the point. What this guy does is illegal! PERIOD! Thats the point of this entire post. I would have no problem if every track around here band him, even though it wouldnt solve anything.

All this is free advertisement, until all the drivers get together and actually take a stand agianst it, nothing is going to change and that would mean the guys using it as well. JMO!!

It may be free advertisement right now... But when his customers start getting published, I hope they are willing to accept the criticism...

The bigger point of this thread is that UMP, Hoosier, the tracks and every racer or fan knows there is a major problem with the tire-doping. Unfortunately, it is not being addressed. That is especially evident from the silence from UMP & Hoosier. (Sam is probably busy setting up a big race with hefty entry fees to create a nice windfall for DirtCar.)

The local racing community will continue to kick the dog, in this case Bleedblue! We will continue to see an ocassional national series "cheater" drug through the internet hell and racing will go on with a bad tire and a sanction body that looks the other way on all rules, except body dimensions.

I would be interested in seeing a few end of the year special modified races with an "open" tire rule.

You are sadly mistaken if you don't think it is being addressed.... It may not be "instant" or "public", but there are plenty of things going on to address the tire cheating issue.

Not sadly mistaken, just a realist. Hope something does change as I'd like racing to still be about the little guy with smaller pockets. Not the guy that can afford 50 tires in all sizes, preps and dressings.

Addressing the issue would be addressing what the drivers are complaining about and that's the tire life. This product isn't making them speed demons beating every fast driver on the track. They wouldn't use it if the tires lasted longer. The problem to address is the issue with UMP and Hoosier. Let's get to the root of the problem. Nick would be out of business which is what alot of you want if they would change the tire requirements.

The drivers spend ALOT more money than they ever make back. That's their hard earned money or sponsorship money. The drivers put on the shows at all of these tracks. The fans come to see the drivers/cars and that's how the track makes it's money. If you out a bunch of drivers for "cheating" on their tires because they're trying to save money, then you're driving away business for the track and UMP. Keep it up and all the tracks will end up closed and UMP won't exist either.

You seem to think letting Hoosier dope tires would a-ok and the sun will never set again. If that happened..........first off tire dopers would be unemployed as Hoosier would do it theirselves(and charge more for their own tires) since they could do it and have it organized. Probably have to get a permit......inspection ect ect so on. So.......tires would go up because we all would be forced to buy hoosier doped tires......lol. There goes the lower-the-tire-bill theory. I say this..........put the list of his customers out there and lets find who the dopers and the dopees are. Then.......lets all have a general discussion-driver's to track owners. Im afraid......the list is huge as well and we will be shocked as to who is on it.

name one sanctioning body that allows it just saying

Thats my biggest issue. If it was a motor rule adn some dude was doing illegal motors and admitting he did and does them..........id like him outed also. Its a tire rule......and a nasty rule break. Sad......some have to goto this to do well. Im waiting as im afraid.....this list of driver's is coming
