UMP receives $25 dollars per tire that is sold through Hoosier. Every track recieves an additional $5,000 per year from Hoosier. That's why UMP won't work with me to extend tire life, that's why the tracks won't let me do what I do and that's probably the root of all of this. You remember when the local tracks were going to eliminate the Emod D40? Well it didn't happen because Hoosier said to them that the contract they had would have to be renogociated and the tracks buckled. Who is the bad guy, maybe we all are. I'm not innocent, I sell and do things that aren't within the rules. Morality is a small percentage of racing, most of the rest is like dealing with the Mafia. There are so many things that go on in the background that most don't even know about.

Ill repeat what ive said.....its not because of morals or they dont like you or they wish a guy would have to buy more tires every years. Its called liability. Read my post. You allow preps and you wont make a dime. Everyone will be doing it and it will imlode and we will all be wondering who popped the balloon with a needle. I dont wish harm to you or your business......it just has a bad rap and will continue so till the rule is reversed. wont happen anytime soon im afraid.
 
Like SCP posted in another thread........easy answer is run all A's get rid of D and H's and preps wont matter anymore.

Kinda what I was thinking, put the tire in the lathe get it round and profiled..and magically its prepped and undetectable. One compound only racing would make it easier to police and narrow the gap from the money guys to the budget racer as well.

bleedblue has been sending messages to a few of those posting on here that he will expose their friends and family using his products if they talk bad about him on here....lol..
 
I guess not all tracks are worried about the epa,he operates his business on the fairgrounds at highland speedway!
 
That's not at all true Jimmy. I did message a guy saying I'm HELPing a family member of his to get out of trouble, but that family member isn't even a customer. No axe to grind huh?

I still havn't read any where in the rules where the tire you had was illegal. i guess no one else read them. ha

If you were just in the business of cutting tires, I would have no problem. But supply illegal chemicals and illegal tire types, I do find absolutely offensive and wrong.

Bluebleed..that was an excellent, informative post about tracks getting a $5,000 annual kickback and another $25.00 kickback from Hoosier for every tire the track sells. Very interesting. "Things that go hmmmmmm, huh?".
 
Let me play Devil's Advocate here. In all fairness, would Jimmy have outed a driver who he noticed had a cheater tire on his car and go after him on this site?​

If he would have not waited till I had to go to the infield to deliver that tire, I would have followed him right to the driver he delivered it to and asked him what his plan for using it was and posted that was who got it!

I honestly have NO idea who he took the tire to.

10 pages about a tire that isn't even illegal. really? has anyone read the rules! any EMOD. The tire says EMOD. im done posting about this until ump changes there rules! alot of people push the gray areas's! Look at some of the body's on the mods and latemodels, there illegal. you going to ban someone from a track who builds bodies bc there illegal! Nope. this is a big deal about a tire that is legal and hell he could have been showing the tire to owners who may want to run a wissota event, how do you know what his intent was. as far as "cheated up," ? prove it... until you have the proper information about the intent i believe it should have been brought to his attention before you make any accusations.
 
i am still waiting for any shred of evidence i called anyone a liar. i think someone's on a "witch hunt" of sorts. wild baseless accusations are all i see.
 
Bolt a Wissota tire on and see if you get DQ'd!!!

I'm sure all of his supporters will be the same ones on here complaining the penalties are too harsh when someone gets caught...

When the penalties come down for a typical modified driver, it will probably be a fine the average joe could never afford to pay!
 
Bottom line is.... it is Jimmy that supports the local area race tracks, racers and fans. He does a freakin lot to give us the tools to be up to date with all then news every weekend. Along with him it makes us all sick that there is always an avenue for the racers that have unlimited budgets to spend the extra money to have an edge. I'm a one night a week racer at best and refuse to buy cheated up tires, a $2200 dollar true track rear end or a $4000 dollar shock package. It's out of control and UMP needs to step up. I hope this post stays at the top for the next month!!!!!! It's openly being done right out in the open and discussed on here for everyone to see. That should show the "average" racer like myself how bad it is and how much worse it is gonna get.
 
You can bet the UMP officials read this thread routinely and are well aware of the drivers concerns on tire doping. Yet, not one official dares to man-up and step in here and explain why they just turn their heads and look the other way when questions arise about illegal cars/parts. Guess they're not allowed to post? It must be very frustrating for drivers sitting in on a question and answers session with UMP listening to them skirting around every issue. I'll bet it's a hoot.
