Hoosier Tire rep to be at I-55 this Saturday to work with mods on new A40S tire

Hopefully they get it figured out, because if not there won't be any good used one's i can buy for my street stock.

I understand about the "cure time" the tire needs,and i beleive this will help them last longer! My problem is that Hoosier knew last October,that we were gonna be running this tire,so why did they wait till now to make them,knowing these tires needed to cure? Hoosier,is saying we need to hot lap,with the A40S on the front if the car,then let them sit a week before we race them! But that doesnt help a guy that only has the A40s tires!
 
I know Kevin at TCS said we can't run them because then the guys that can afford it will be able to go buy all new of the softer tires and the ones who can't would be stuck on a harder tire and would be unfair, it makes sense but sucks that we can't get new tires it what do ya do lol
 
I just bought 2 New Hs and As to start the season go figure its the first new tires i have bought in three years. what you suppose to run on then when there no older As and Hs left. And that happens already with the other tires. Lol
 
Some of are missing the point. If they went with one hard tire only and mandated certain wear characteristics then this wouldn't be an issue. Contract with the company that can do this at the lowest cost. I just bought a 16 inch radial tire for my RV for $130. Why do racing tires cost so much? It's the padding that's expensive. UMP and Hoosier pockets. Wake up guys!

Some of you need to stop kissing Hoosiers ass and support what is best for racing and racers.
 
These are vintage appearing tires so of course they are more expensive.

Have you ever paid for a single racing tire. Hell you complain about the cost of getting into a track. You really need to get on a program. Maybe a psychiatrist or something like that.
 
I'm with Al there is no amount of time that is going to make this a good tire sell what they have made at half price because they don't even last half as long make a 26.5H and run all H tires
 
Hound is the kind if guy who continually spouts off on these type of sites. In actuality he is a guy who would never say the same thing in person. We can do nothing to help him except to pray for him.

Still don't understand his love for Sam, UMP and Hoosier. But then again I don't understand transvestites either.
