Mcs Rules Meeting

Those are the only changes to the b mods, American Racers or hard tires on the back and no carb. metering plates.

How hard is it? Open up the rules like all the other tracks, so if a guy wants to come try out the high banks, he can. There shouldn't be 1 track that sticks with the rules from 10 years ago, not if they want any cars that is. Seems to me that the only people that don't want to open it up is James Brock (wonder why) and Mel.

The rules on the rear end geometry needs to be rewrote to state that you can alter the trailing arm mounts. That is the reason we left early in the 2004 season. The rule states STOCK rear suspensions. After looking at several altered rear suspensions that I raced against in 2003 and the beginning of 2004 I decided that these rules were for some and not others , unless you noticed them on the other cars and questioned it.My rear suspension was looked at on several occasions and YES it is unaltered and no adjustments. Nothing against MCS, they just need to get the rules wrote out and state what is LEGAL or ILLEGAL so other drivers will know what they can or cannot do.As far as allowing torque absorbing devices I personnally would say yes, this will let these guys be able to run against the cars with altered/adjustable trailing arm mounts. I could post car numbers but I won't. "The Hustler"

i know a few cars like that, adjustable roll steer, adjustable roll center. wouldn't suprise people which cars they were.

Kenny has a good point. If you can alter the controlling arm mounts all over the place why can't I run one solid arm on top of the rear end? HMMM HMMM

MEL,

WE NEED SOME RULES....

What is the problem? It has been over a month now. What was the purpose of the rules meeting, when nothing was decided, and still isn't? What happened to a week? Mel needs to stop "Meling it Over" and make a decision, and he wonders why he has a struggling car count. Time is running out make a decision.........

Less than 12 weeks to go. Glad they finalized the B-mod rules at least. I guess the 10 street stockers that actually showed up on a normal basis are being hung out to dry.

I will be meeting with Mel this Sunday. He just returned from the mountain bearing stone tablets called rules or commandments or something, and I shall transcribe them and place them on the internet, hopefully by late Sunday night or Monday.

When? Everything you've said so far on this matter has been false. Its gonna be real funny when the same 8 cars show up.
