I still have my ticket from that race in my wallet if Webb, Ken Martin, dirtfan1 or any other alais of Webb's would like to see it or better yet refund my money!!!

People say I'm getting crankier as I get older. That's not it. I just find I enjoy annoying people a lot more now. Especially younger people!!!
 
Go back and check your facts about all the events and tracks lost since this stupid MESS series has come along. It will be interesting to see if ANY of the drivers has what it takes to stand up to Webb and his antics. We'll see how many go to the Sunday show. For me, this isn't about how shifty and crooked Webb is, we all know that. I want to see if these few drivers that follow him can be that blind. We as fans can only do so much. As said before, It's up to the DRIVERS to put their foot down before they have NO home tracks to run on. It is sad that sprint racing in this area has come to this. Thank you MESS series and those who support it.
 
Guy Webb I have had my personal experience with you and you are nothing more than a lying piece of cr@p. The first time I booked you, you were a no show, after I spent about $3000 on advertisement, the second time I booked you, you guranteed me 18 cars, or the purse would be reduced.Thirteen showed up, 10 started the feature and you tried laying the blame on me.The blame lies with yourself,for your cars not showing up. I did exactly what I told you I would do,and as far as me getting physically hurt, I doubt that.I would not pee on you, if you were on fire.Bottom line Guy, you are a one shoter at the tracks that you go to,or a no show. You have a good day now Guy.
Way to stand up to em Steve & Stevie. You will learn to keep people like Guy Webb out of your track.

i do to still have my ticket..that would be the honorable thing to refund our money.. i think every race track should charge his seris for running the facility instead of the other way around..jmo. because it sounds like he is very shady. and we dont need that kind in our sport..but thats just me..
 
Well if sprint car drivers are "selling their souls" by racing for less than $2000 to win then I guess latemodel drivers are too and should be getting paid $2000 to win minimum. Oh and don't forget the modified drivers that I guess should be getting a minimum of $1500 to win and the sportsman and street stock drivers that should be getting a minimum or $1000 or so. Then the track promoters will have to charge a minimum or $50 for pit entry because as it is, usually when the purse goes up for one class the pit entry goes up for all classes to make up for the higher purse, along with the general admission, which I guess will be $25 or more per person including children. Then lets see, fans won't be able to afford to bring their families to the races every week, drivers will ***** about having to pay $50 or more for pit passes. The stands will be nearly empty, the track owner still won't be able to pay the purse and then, not only will you not have fans, you won't have drivers and the track closes. Hmmm, I guess you're right there are consequences.

I like sprint cars but do I think that they are any more special than the other classes, not really. Every driver in the pit area spends alot of money to put their car together to race every week. And when I say alot of money, that's relative to the person. Maybe what a guy spends on a street stock isn't alot of money to a guy that builds a sprint car but it is to the street stock guy. It's alot of money that probably won't ever be won back but most weekly racers know that going in. Track owners have to put together a weekly purse for the group of classes that they race that they think is fair across the board and that they can afford to pay by keeping the admission price fair for the drivers and the fans alike.

So, with that said, I STILL won't attend a dirtfan1 promoted event and you won't miss me and I won't miss you when you're racing 5-6 hours away. The farther the better. And you can take your "Holier than Thou" attitude and STFU.

First question, Not true cause YOU call them up and tell them NOT to run at a track...

Second, Because it is YOUR choice to pay that much. Take it or leave it.. Do you think the FANS (the more important person here) gives a crap what an event pays??? Not no but **** (really hot place below our feet) NO!!!

Third, You really are a bone head aren't ya!!! Your making so much off this garbage you call a series that you have no clue how much the average driver has to struggle making ends meet just to make any other Friday-Sunday show. Unlike your...choice words... many of them still have to work on Monday thru Friday to pay bills. You just sit back and let everyone pay yours. I really REALLY wish I could meet you and show you how much someone puts their heart and soul into racing. Cause you clearly dont have either one. Sure as hell dont have any class either...

Every point you make is right on! I couldnt agree more. The fans have drawn the line in the sand. Lets see if the drivers do the same. It is very sad you cant go to a local race any more with the 410 sprints and not have some side show, drama going on. So if the fans put on a sprint car race without any outside sources we are all scabs? You are a piece of work thats for sure.
 
Maybe the 410 drivers should organize together and promote themselves. What good is a promoter that only gets you a race once at a track cuz he in someway fouls it up and makes the track not want you back? Before its said and done no track will deal with him and it will be over anyway. If drivers could have their own organization it would eliminate someone doing it just for their own profit and put it in the hands of those who really care about the class not someone who cares just about the money they stand to make.
 
Wow this guy obviously doesn't think very highly of his fans, calling us trailer trash. Actually, not his fans, he has none, but the fans of the cars he "promotes", notice the quotes. So, no driver in this area should run for less than his almighty $2000 to win shows? Or else why should he pay that high if they are willing to run for less? That is the dumbest logic I have heard. You SHOULD pay a little higher than these lower paying shows because you are SUPPOSED to be a traveling special series, you know, one that pays a little more than a regular local show (get the idea?). Here is a comparison to show that your logic fails. Around here, there is the NALMS series for late models (or even the Midwest Monster Tour). They pay $2000 to win for their special shows. A lot of the drivers that run this series also run regular shows that pay less (and sometimes special shows that pay less). Should the NALMS series look at this and say "hell these guys run for less, we should start paying less"? The answer is NO, tool. The point of the series is to give the drivers in the area a little something more to race for when the series comes around. The same thing your series should be, but fails miserably at. Also, calling anyone who doesn't race at one of your shows a scab just shows you're all sorts of messed up. Just my opinion:D
 
What are racers supposed to do? They own their cars, they can race where ever when ever. Are they supposed to just sit around waiting on one of this clowns shows and do nothing in between? Paying the guaranteed $2000 is to try and secure the car count for his show. As long as this clown is getting his cut and the racers support his shows, that's all he should worry about. He doesn't own the racers and their equipment. This is a simple case of trying to strong arm the racers and I'd see him dead and in hell before I'd help him make a dime with these tactics going on!!!!

Plain and simple, you lay with dogs you're gonna get fleas. The 410 guys need to think. This guy represents them at his shows. They may want to reconsider who they want representing them!!!!
 
My thaughts, if I had a sprint car. Let's see, humm drive less than an hour for $1200 to win, or 5 to 6 hours for $2000 to win. That's a no brainer to me.
 
So far the MESS series has called out most track owners/promotors in our area, said you were "rogue" and "poor promomtors". Called out the fans as "scabs" and "trailer trash". Called out drivers, the Moughans & Hurley, called out "HIS" own drivers Goldsberry and Bruns,for running at Shepps. MESS says " any self respecting driver would've passed on the event". MESS says. You guys will have "consequenses" for running YOUR car at "unsanctioned" events. Mess says you are "rogue" racers and you "sold your pride" by racing at this event. I find it hard to believe that any FAN or DRIVER could support this lack of respect and pack of lies the MESS series sells. Surely this isn't what the drivers want to be associated with.

The 410 non winged guys are happy with 1400 to win weekly with 200 to start with heat race, semi and fast time xtra $, at least they haven't boycoted us. We are just waiting for Webb to be done and we will add wings back to our schedule. At least I can sleep at night knowing I didn't go behind any other Promoters backs and try to get their race track. Let's just not go there. Oh, by the way, luckily I save certain questionable phone messages from series promoters. LOL! PS,, if this is Guy, stop calling us, don't go away mad, just go away.

" We are waiting for Webb to be done so we can add the wings back to our schedule"! It would be great to see that happen, but I totally understand why you won't do it til Webb is gone. I can't wait for the day when my family and I can go to a 410 winged race without some form of the circus being there to disrupt it. The DRIVERS are locking themselves out of home tracks by supporting Webb and his BS. We love the wings, but a THANKS goes out to Jacksonville for keeping some form of sprint racing going in our area, we can't always make the trip to Farmington.

Now I know how you came up with the Bullseye name! LOL You like alot of others have this issue hit squarely on the head! Talk about slander and all that. Where is your proof that Jacksonville cant pay the purse? Jacksonville is great and I cant wait until the 3000 dollar shows come up! All of us scabs and trailer trash will be there! The only reason he is mad Kim is because we all know his game. Ive seen it for a little while now and Im very happy everyone else is as well!

All Ken Martin is trying to do is stop Farmington from running on Saturday nights. Farmington has held on by a wide thread ever since Ken spouted off he would have Farmington shut down LAST MAY! The plan is no weekley 410 winged sprints and him having the only game around, but it's starting to backfire on ole Ken!:D
