Belle-Clair Speedway Statement & Revised Schedule for Belle-Clair Promotions

There is a 800 pound gorilla sitting in the corner of this thread. And I feel compelled to comment on it.
Neither STLracing's Administrator or the owners of T-City have commented on, or shown any regret for, the demise of Belle-Clair Speedway.
Neither this web site nor Tri-City Speedway has anything to do with this situation. They should nor been brought into the conversion.

Fans? Racers? Tradition? Revenue for surrounding businesses? Track employees? Newspaper articles? The fair board does not care about any of these things. THEY JUST DON'T CARE.The only thing that matters to them is their bottom line. Greed; one of the seven deadly sins. Probably the worst of them.

Brian, you forgot another one besides GREED.. how about KARMA....! She is a stinker when she is upset!

Well said Brian and Momma Drew. That all can come back at them 100 fold making the racing community upset.

Pass the word to the AMA. POWRI TO BOYCOTT ALSO. Make up signs and show your disapproval Unfair Board. They may not care.but their wallets will.

I appreciate everyones support here. That being said i do not support boycotts as they rarely have positive effects for the short term or the long haul. Alot is going on behind the scenes and i am still hopeful that some agreement can be reached. The Greenfields who do the food at the track this year do not have a say in anything related to this so please support them as you would any other time. Please support the other promoters that use the facility also as they have it tough enough as it is. Please stay tuned as there may be some changes to the revised schedule today!
