no jimmy of us would like to see moyer erb pierce oneal etc etc now it won't happen
 
Don't go then.. Geez, it freaking rained out. At least they Rescheduled a big paying show. I seriously doubt there is another Saturday out there that would work for everyone to come back..
 
22nd of august is a Thursday... They already have a $5000 to win Mars show on August 24
 
A 10,000 on the 17th and $5,000 on the 24th sounds like a better option for the racers to me.
 
if you dont have the money to follow the big boys around to the high dollar shows then take what ya get when its at the local tracks. i too am sure it will still be a great show. Personally id love to see a local take the win instead of one of the "big boys"

the n the date should be sep 7 we know no locals from st Louis will stray away that weekend
 
I haven't seen a word on here about the killing the local tracks are taking this year. They have all been hit hard but it seems like I-55 has taken it real hard this year. Instead of griping about dates or what show someone else is running, let's get out and support all of our local tracks for the rest of the season. If you want race tracks in our area to gripe about, better get out and support them or there won't be any left.

40 grand or 10 grand to win on the same nite could draw a large field of cars plus the travlers better odds to take the 10 grand. plus who knows what the weather will bring, seem pretty hard to guess what or when it will do next!
 
not you want to be on tv or high in lucas points also to the race who can't compete or won't compete with bigger boys it givers them one less night to race
 
Dirthound, try not to be so negative about the whole situation. Most of us don't go every week to the races like you. And yes, you are probably bored of your same old drivers every week. Life goes even though the big guys weren't there to make you jizz your pants. Also, aren't the big boys coming to highland this week? Why not you and your hand go there? Or does your mother not let you travel that far? By the way, I am the one who drove over 2 hours to the track for it to be rained out, so I should be the one pissed off. But I'm not...
