Federated Auto Parts @ I-55 SummerNationals are rained out. Reset for august 17

Guys like Weaver, Billy Moyer Jr, Bobby Pierce will probably show for I-55's make-up date. The heavy hitters will be down at the Topless, but wanna bet we get Payne, Sullivan and more than just a few MARS boys up here as a tune up?

Isnt the Topless a Lucas Oil race? Moyer Jr. will be at the Topless since he is running for the Lucas Oil ROY! And dirthound...STFU!!!!

no jimmy of us would like to see moyer erb pierce oneal etc etc now it won't happen

If you want to see them, then get off your ass an drive to where they are racing. I drove 6 hours (one way) to see them race at PIR. Was going to watch them at Pevely also on the way home. However, mother nature had other plans. I also won't be whining and crying about it for weeks like you will. Maybe your mommy can get you a pacifier.

some of us are not that affluent to drive six hours for a race and they may have to something yeah I know its a 4 letter word called work

I-55 should post DIRTHOUND's mugshot at the ticket booth and ensure all their employees know to NOT let him thru the gate. He is an canker sore to the sport (even though he says he's a fan)...

dirthound, go back to 4m with one of your dozen different usernames and keep your sorry, nothing good to say, butt off here.

I agree with the hound. I know that is stlracing suicide. UMP can give a date to I 55. It is up to the track to know what is going on around it as far as other races. The summer nationals have open dates built in. But Ray only wants to run on saturdays. So he is causing only a few dates too choose from. Yes they rescheduled. But paid too see moyer wallace culp wood etc. I now have to psy $28 to see god knoes who. I would much rather be given the option to use my ticket for the pepsi nationals. I have not seen that ican do that, maybe jimmy can help with that info. If i hsve to i will go the august 17th race if no other option is given, but i will a little disappointed that certain people i paid to see are not there. Get em dirt hound.

Twisted please call the office and ask them about your question. I'm sure they will be glad to give you an answer on this.
Even my husband construction company will not let them work on Sunday since they believe Sunday should be kept for church and family.

My personal opinion is this.....10,000 to win show you will get a heavy field. Oh your right about not getting all the drivers previously listed but in this area we have some of the best late model and modified drivers around. It will be an awesome show with guys putting it all on the line. If you bought a ticket i can see your beef as you wont see some of the glorified drivers there. But it will be an awesome show no doubt either way. To be honest sometimes id rather see a great local race than big namer's come in and 1 goes wayyyyyy out there and the rest try to play catch up. Either or ill be there 28 dollars in hand.

UMP rarely gives a rain date DURING the series. A few years back Macon got rained out and had to reschedule. They were not given a make up date during the series. They ran the Herald and Review about a month after the series was over.
UMP has been inconsistent (big surprise huh) with their make up date policy. One year UMP said absolutely no make up dates then gave Farmer City a Sunday date with a lower purse when their Friday date got washed out. Kamp was offered a Monday make up date (without a reduced purse). They elected to run their 10K show even though the heavy hitters loaded up.
When some tracks are offered make up dates on the scheduled off days and other tracks are refused make up dates the promoters get pretty upset. The best thing UMP can do is not give a SN make up date. Let the tracks do as I55 is and run the race after the series is done. It IS still a 10K show. There will be a great field of cars even if Moyer isn't there.
When a track has to postpone an event they very rarely do as well financially on the make up date as they would have on the original date. Just be thankful they're making up the event rather than canceling it.

Dirthound just likes to complain and troll on these forums. 10,000 to win show will bring a good field of cars and you don't need the all the big dogs to put on a good show. Is it nice to have them show up yes it is but, not necessary. Dirthound you have a choice go or don't go it's that simple but, to come on here and keep complaining is not going to change anything. You are always part of the problem and never a solution to dirt track racing and the struggles this sport is enduring right now. Do us all a favor get the biggest hammer you can find and take your frustration out on your computer so the rest of us don't have to read your bs anymore or stop complaining and be glad this promoter had the guts to reschedule this race.

In the past as mentioned already, tracks have taken and re-scheduled the weather out date to a date outside the original total SN schedule. There was an understanding that there would be no SN points, but the payout was the same and there were UMP given. There were dropout of the drivers as several went out place. The point is this is nothing new and has been done several times over the last several years. Mother Natures doesn't care about the SN races, but if tracks want to re-schedule they do and you expect less of a show. Sorry, we can't control Mother Nature.
