(GM?) I'd say they are not GM rods, as long as the ministocks have been racing in this area it would have not takin this long to figure out a GM combo that would stay together. You guy's are smarter than that. I'm not going to mention names, because its pretty obvious who twists them hard every night and they stay together. Just an opinion from an outsider. Cobra: You said there are already good rods (GM?) out there, if so what are they? I know the ones I use are the best GM S-10 rods and your lucky if they stay inside the block anything over 5,800 RPM's. The Fords are turning 7,800.

Now thats the attitude or if they do go to flat sides maybe you could become an alluminum dealer.Nick said:Don't do away with stock bodies , usually twice a year Bad Bob makes my house payment with the repairs and repainting of his stock body . And I can really say then ... " I LOVE YOU BOB "

2.3 Pinto's did not come out with Escort flywheels but they are stock production parts so its allowed.pwracing said:There are GM rods that will keep it together, they just didn't come out in a 2.5! There is alot of other stuff you have to do to make them work which could also deem you comb illegal the way I read the rules! But once again I have only read DRR rules and need to read both to be sure. And I'm not going to bother untill the rules for 2006 come about. Got burnt last time on that one.
