Tribute to Dean Motsinger

Has there been any talk of charges brought against the driver of the car. I mean it has to be said that if he was walking on I55 that it is not very easy to hit a guy unless you are not in the lane.

I like most knew Dean solely from racing, and yes I was not a fan of his thoughts all of the times when I briefly spoke with him, but when a guy has as much passion for the sport as Dean did you have to respect that.
I must say that this is truly saddening to me because I know he just flat out loved racing and the community more than anybody. I watched the tribute to him and even gained more respect for him as it appeared that he was a good Dad and loved his kids alot. To his family I truly hope you find a way to go forward and cherish the times you had with him.

Godspeed Dean Motsinger.................

I just wanted to take a couple of minutes and thank everyone for their beautiful thoughts. From here on out, its the memories that will keep Dean alive in our hearts. I am thankful that I can print these out and one day let my son read about his dad.

To all of those who have shown their support, I thank you.

Cassie Crockett and (approx. 8 weeks left) Braedyn Michael Dean Motsinger.

Thank you all!

I just wanted to say "thank you" to everyone who sent flowers, cards, etc. and who came to say their goodbyes to Dean. To the "Boys" (you know who you are), I want to thank all of you for going out to be with my parents during this time - they needed you guys there and it has done them well to know that you all loved Dean the way you did. He meant something different to every one of us and it will be hard to move on. I wish the best for each of you and may God bless you and guide you as you continue through life and in your racing careers. Keep telling those stories and remembering him for the friend he was to each of you. You guys all meant the world to him - he so loved helping make you faster. Once again, thank you to all and hang in there everyone, we will get through this together!

I didnt make it to the funeral, but i made sure i made it to see him and his family in their time of need. On the helmet of myself and my father will be a memoriam to one of the best friends I could have ever asked for, he helped me when no one else was there. He will always be in my heart. "Theyve got ya to beat man!" Godspeed Dean. Thank You for all the good times.

From the family of Dean

We would like to thank each and every person who posted their thoughts and feelings about Dean (good and bad), all of the flowers that were sent, phone calls, thoughts and prayers that were sent to us. As 99% of all the messages said 'Dean was Dean'. We all lost a little piece of us and he will be greatly missed. I think Dean will be talked about and come in on alot of conversations for quite awhile. All of the love that was sent to us goes back to each and everyone.

Thank you all again,

Dean's parents, wife and family

Thank you all for posting such nice things about my dad, although I did not know him much, he would always make me laugh. I can't really remember much, and I really regret making the decision to not drive a quarter midget with his number.
