Tri City Question

An official announcement hasn't been made yet. I caution against jumping to conclusions just yet. Along with the newsletter, I also got a list of every sanctioned track for every division, and Tri-City was listed for late models, modifieds & 4 Cylinders.

I Went To Ump's Website As Jdearing Posted, Clicked On Tracks, Clicked On State Of Illinois, Scrolled Down To Tri City And It Said "friday Nights, 3/8ths Oval, Weekly Ump, Late Models, Modifieds, And Sportsman??????? Explain This Please....are Sportsman A Weekly Thing Or Not??? Ump Acknowledges They Are.........INQUIRING MINDS WOULD LIKE TO KNOW?????

Thanks
Brandy

I get the impression that UMP is very poorly ran too. Maybe they should get what they have now in order, before adding any new series/classes.

UMP might be running sportsman But TCS is not running them in 2007.
Hope this clears this up. Classes are:

LM
Mods
Cars
SS
Factory

Franko

I just got a list of tracks today with what divisions they will sanction. I will update the UMP website track lists with their divisions they are running throughout this week. It will be slow this week for to get anything done as my wife is having surgery tomorrow.

Mr Gundaker always gets on here to announce the date of an announcement. And everytime, he fails to release the information. Either he is not happy with the decision or he just has terrible public relation skills.

The way it looks, he will have a great product (new track) but the customer service aspect is really lacking.

Even if UMP doesn't give an answer or instructs TCS not to post the answer then the proper move would be to post exactly what is happening rather than just leave it up in the air.
Come on Kev . We dont bite

I like how all the "Basher" names come out to do the bashing. These names have been around for a couple years & are only used when it is time to do some bashing!! LMAO!

Same couple people with multiple names & nothing better to do. :D :D :D

To say what? That TCS requested UMP sanctioning and it was denied?

NOW TODD, TELL ME YOU REALLY DON'T THINK THAT IS THE CASE. IF IT WAS THAT CUT AND DRIED THERE WOULD BE NO PRESS RELEASE. SAME THING IF IT WAS A PLAIN AND SIMPLE YES. COULD A DEAL BE IN THE WORKS?

I'M GONNA ASK STAN THE 1ST NIGHT A BELLE CLAIR HOW HE FEELS ABOUT THIS TCS UMP THING. MY STANCE HAS JUST BEEN ONE OF STANDING UP FOR THE UNDERDOG. I JUST DIDN'T LIKE HOW SOME PEOPLE ON HERE RUN THERE LIPS AS THOUGH BELLEVILLE SHOULD JUST BE STEP ON. I AM A BELLEVILLE SUPPORTER, BUT IF HE HAS NO PROBLEM WITH IT, I WON'T EITHER. NOT THAT MY OPINION MATTERS ANYWAY. :p :D

The racing community is a fairly values based and principled community, Kevin might just come to find out that his and Daddy's business conduct is not looked upon with favor and many may not have any interest in his schedule of events.

To pause all the bickering from some..Jimmy we all wish your wife a speedy recovery.

Racefantoo!

Your remarks are rude and uncalled for!

Do you ever think enough is enough.

Gordon Gundaker has given and helped more people in St. Louis than you will ever do!

Quit hiding behind this site and pick up the phone or stop by the race track and address your comments and remarks directly to us.

This way you will be sure to get the facts directly.

You can continue to Bash us, but don't you dare bash Kevin's dad. This is a well respected Business man who has done nothing but help alot of people and has brought alot of growth the the St. Louis area.

If you don't like Tri-City or us than that's your perrogative, but have enough guts to find out the truth and know what your talking about.

As you sit back and lash out we will continue to improve Tri-City for the Driver's and the Fans.

It's comments as yours and the durogatory marks you make about racing in general that reflect back on racing.

If you don't like someone or something than don't go around them or the business their involved in.

I invite you come out and discuss your problems face to face.

When you lash out with your comments this effects us, our staff, drivers and fans. It's comments as yours that's hurts the racing community. Do you want to keep race tracks open and have a place for these driver's to go?

We will have a great facility and great racing for both drivers and fans.

Weekly drivers deserve a good place to race your comments hurt the racing community. If you don't like Tri-City that's fine, but don't comment about something you know nothing about or people you know nothing about.

Kevin has brought alot to the racing community and helped alot of drivers and still does. I guess last year with a average car count of 120 night these driver's must have thought Kevin was just a awful Promoter and didn't really care. Would you call that SUPPORT?

Tammy Gundaker

All Concerned:

The season is almost upon us now. Time to enjoy our tracks wether that may TCS/BC/Highland or MTVN. Everyone will have their favorite and we should support all, lest we lose them. Do not for a minute think developers are not looking, not too mention the noise police, e.g. curfews.

And most important!

Jimmy mentioned his wife is going to have surgery on 3/20/2007.

All the best and hope she gets home soon!

Being Mr. Mom is one tough job.......!!!

Good day to All!

Storeroom.

Looks as though justice may have prevailed, Tri-City has been busy posting their schedule all over the board and it makes no mention of UMP L.M. or Modifieds except for special shows.

The racing community is a fairly values based and principled community, Kevin might just come to find out that his and Daddy's business conduct is not looked upon with favor and many may not have any interest in his schedule of events.Today 07:44 PM

Please don't talk for the racing community, I think we can talk for ourself!! I am a race fan and have been going to the tracks for a long time, and I am thankful that I can take my daughter and wife to the track like my Dad did for me when I was younger. RACEFANTOO if you are such a FAN TOO then just stop coming on here and saying bad things about the Gundakers, and just go to the track you want to be at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure Tri-City will not miss you are the horse you ride on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be at the races and I will tell you that I have seen my last race at the other Friday night track about two years ago, that is not racing for the late models. That is just what I think!!!! GOOD LUCK TO both tracks.

I do hope that Tri-City will be UMP, for the drivers that want to race there and not on the little track.

RACEFANTOO you have now been called out by Tammy Gundaker, and offered to go meet with them face to face, NOW LET"S SEE WHAT KIND OF FAN YOU ARE!!!!!

THE RACING COMMUNITY IS VALUE BASED AND PRICIPLED COMMUNITY?

SURE THERE ARE SOME. BUT FOR SURE SOME AREN'T! WHO'S WHO? IT ALL COMES OUT IN THE WASH!

BIG DOLLARS ARE RUINING LOCAL LEVEL RACING! THE BIG CORPS THROW MONEY AROUND AND MAKE IT LOOK GOOD. BUT THEY'RE GETTING DEEPER IN YOUR POCKETS TO GET MORE MONEY AT THE SAME TIME! GREEDY S O B S !
