This car has one play day and 2 races since being built from the frame up. Built on a Chevelle frame car was sandblasted and welds checked. Car has never been bent. Every major component on the car is new. BSB birdcages, brake floater, pinion mount, outlaw pull bar and spring slider (all new)...
I saw I another post where Jimmy had mentioned that all UMP tracks will be required to run UMP B-Mod rules next year. Does this mean that 3 link will be required at Tri-City as well or will Revin keep the current hybrid B-Mod rules?
I agree as well! B-mod is any economy class, Flat Tops, solid cams and no shaft rockers. I have seen a sanctioning body's rules that said no stud girdles. Not sure I agree with that one. The other rule I have seen is no MSD Ignitions, dont know about that one as there is such an abundance of...
Well rather then single out one class maybe those rules should be for all classes. Lord knows none of the upper class guys ever spin on purpose when they get a bad start...lol.
I can see your point of view on that, As I said I don't care I just want know what changes I would need to make. So playing devils advocate here. Would you allow locked birdcages or would all brackets need to be welded on the rear end? Would you allow spring sliders or that goofy spring on top...
I am not concerned about the sanction, Curious more about the 3/4 link debate that always comes up with the B-mods. I don't really care one way or another. I will just be happy to have a track close to home.
B-mod guys help Trace and Jim out here. Get on here and show these guys they will have...
ModRacer_1s you are correct, every week the class drew 20-25 cars. You would think that with the lack of any local tracks running B-Mods promoters would see the potential of that market. Just take a look at the turn out that the local tracks have the one or two times a year that actually run...
My mistake on the name, I apologize. I just fail to see a different result when your going with the same classes that were there before and were not successful the first go around as well as running the same sanction as Pevely on the same night.
You know its funny that you bring up attitudes...
So reading through this post it appears that you are going after the been there done that classes that pretty much caused the doors to close the last time MMP was open. With all the tracks around that target the Late Models and A-Mods it would make sense to target the more economical classes of...
