my opinion
i feel if you are in any kind of a modified class you should have to run alky. if you are running gas in a modified class basically you are running a pure street car with a modified body. i am sure there are few differences but basically you are running a pure street motor and trany in a modified chassis. the alky does make the motor run cooler , but with gas you just pour it in and go with usually no problems. as for the cost it is about $7.50 a gallon at Duncan's and alky is about $3-4 a gallion and you can buy that at any track. but if you are that concerned about the cost of fuel then buy it from a regular gas station which is about $3.40 a gallon or just not race until you can afford it. chris
