Congratulations George W. & Matt Blunt

Well, no matter if I disagree with anybody on this subject matter or not it still has been interesting and edjucational to debate with t.nie as we have been friends for a few years now. I have a lot of respect for him and his oppinions. Thanks for the debate.

A free thinking country is where we live and should be very proud and fortunate to live here.

The only problem I've ever had with t-nie is he is from Illinois and we all know that people from Illinois are simply not as bright as the people from Missouri....

It sounds like we are starting to identify those things that we have in common and agree upon. Maybe we should start a third party. The DIRT Party! We have a few years to develop a platform and select our candidates. We could hold our party's convention at a local dirt track.
Can you spend federal matching campaign funds on beer?

It would be the one party where mudslinging in the campaign commericals would be a good thing, lol :D

The problem for all of the Republicans on this forum is that such a party would take more votes away from the "elephants" than from the "donkeys" and give the election to the Dems. That would be fine with me, but... ;)

North American Free Trade Agreement
PART ONE: GENERAL PART

Article 101: Establishment of the Free Trade Area

The Parties to this Agreement, consistent with Article XXIV of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, hereby establish a free trade area.

Article 102: Objectives

1. The objectives of this Agreement, as elaborated more specifically through its principles and rules, including national treatment, most-favored-nation treatment and transparency, are to:

a) eliminate barriers to trade in, and facilitate the cross-border movement of, goods and services between the territories of the Parties;
b) promote conditions of fair competition in the free trade area;

c) increase substantially investment opportunities in the territories of the Parties;
Gee wizz I do believe this was signed and went into effect January 1994, this is why Ford moved to Mexico. But there must be a mistake because it was signed by the incredible Bill Clinton. So the next time you use your Missouri EBT, Just run right home and thank the mighty Mr. Clinton.

Under President Bush, Wage Growth has Slowed, and Millions of Jobs Have Been Lost

During the first two years of the Bush Administration, income dropped by nearly $1,500 per household. And throughout George Bush's presidency, wage growth has been weak.

In the last 12 months, wages and salaries grew at the slowest rate since 1982.

Plus, since President Bush took office, we've lost 2.2 million private sector jobs.

Meanwhile, Average Americans are Facing Skyrocketing Costs . . .
College Tuition Up 28%

Family Health Care Premiums Up 36%

Gas Prices Up 25%

(all figures inflation adjusted)

. . . and Wealthy Corporate Interests Are Getting Richer

HMO Profits Up 50% in 2003

CEO Compensation Up 61% in 2003

Corporate Profits Up 83% in 2001-2003

(all figures inflation adjusted)

As Merrill Lynch's chief economist explains:

"We've had a redistribution of income to the corporate sector."

Worst Yet, We're Less Safe Under George Bush
Resources were diverted before the mission against Al Qaeda was finished in Afghanistan.
Homeland security has been neglected. The President's budget cuts grants for local police, fire, and emergency medical agencies, and slashes first-responder training by 43%.
Only 5% of incoming cargo containers are being inspected.
North Korea has dramatically increased its nuclear arsenal.

I got this of http://www.district9.org/

Oh J. Smith...... Guess what???? Nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah nah, hey, hey, hey, --- Goodbye.... LOL..

Sounds like somebody is taking things a bit too serious..... LOL... Krazy, just sit back and chill out. We're just having some fun here.

DIRT Party

The lack of agreement and ill will toward the established parties, as demonstrated on this thread, would seem to indicate that the country is ripe for a viable third party candidate. This person would have to be a "Great Unificator". I am proud to nominate t.nie as the DIRT party candidate for president in 2008!
(get backs are a b.... t.nie) ;)

Millsey is right. Let's lighten up folks!

He couldn't do any worse than Ralph Nader did this time around, lol. :D

No don't know millsey and yes 8 years republicans 8 democrat not saying anything about first 4 or republicans just the last 4 are harder than ever was! the amount of unemployment here is terrible! And the nafta thing from the last one I don't agree with either! I'm not dissing any republicans! Just saying I would have voted for kermit the frog! Just to get them out!

Krazy are you feeling a bit better now that you got that out of your system?? It's good to speak your mind and it's great to see the huge variety of views...

I'm feeling the love... lol

I completely agree with X factor about this country and the freedom to disagree. That should never be taken for granted. Funny we should spend so much time face to face, and never air out our views on this issue.:)

Thanks for the kind words from all of those who referred to me. Now, about that DIRT party nomination...:eek:

I tell ya what, if I am running for President, then Larry has to be my VP, and Brandon Paul our campaign manager (lets put that stopwatch and clipboard to a good use...:p lol)

I want Doug handling the press, XFactor in charge of transportation so we can have a problem of the week every week, Green Eyes in charge of booking all of our appearances, Dean has to organize the social functions, and MnM? Well, he can do all of the promotional materials.

Any other nominations?

Can I be the party organizer? You know the fund raiser type !!!! I am sure we can pick a few pockets along the way!!!! ;)
