Hoosier Tire rep to be at I-55 this Saturday to work with mods on new A40S tire

Under a fair bidding procedure you might see them here. But Sam would never let that happen. I would love to see the process used during the last proposal process. Bet it was real fair. NOT!

Whoever the guy from hoosier is thats coming this week, i feel sorry for him. After the verbal abuse hes gonna endure, he may need therapy!

I typically buy used tires to race so how in the world am I going to be able to buy used tires now since there is nothing left of them after just one night??

I thought you guys were saving that can of Whup Azz for the loser.

It's going to take the racers and owners to make a stance and tell UMP to get this fixed with Hoosier and if they don't you will be boycotting the next race and so on until it's fixed.

Take all the mods to the front gate park letting no one in until the promoter allows another tire. The promoters are the problem as they are the ones taking the bribes with no future interest in mind for the sport of racing. I know for a fact the reason no grooving is because it extends the life of the tires.

Tri City is the only track not cow towing to ump by not forcing the b-mods to be sanctioned that I know of.

So what happened during the Hoosier rep visit? Anything good come out of it? Free tires for everyone?

I destroyed a tire after about 6 laps in the feature! Hoosier did replace the tire, but basicaly they think it is just a issue with that racetrack! Which is bull****!

You didnt think that they would take the blame did you. Well atleast we know what the s stands for and its not save.

The explanation we got was yes the track is extremely abrasive, especially with the sheeps foot being used. The evidence if that is the race track itself. We were also told the tires ideal operating temperature is between 160 and 220. I dont thing the pro 4 cars were within that range.

Also were told that the center chunks out because the edges are made thicker than the center. Edges scoot, center grips too much and thus chunks out.

There were a few other things about the chalk sizes i didnt catch, but they legitimately seemed to want to fix the problem. One solution wont fix every tracks issue though.

H only rule at pevely? Shannon Rush himself said we need it...

We dont need a h rule at pevely! We need them to build a decent tire! He told me last night that some cars were rolling across the scales and the rr tire was 290*,and nobody was lower than250*,i may be wrong, but i dont beleive that at all! I check the heat in my tires pretty often and have never rolled of pevelys track higher than *185! And the old a would last just fine at 185*
