MCS Is Being Sued as "PUBLIC NUISANCE"

Some of ya all have wayyyyyyyyyy too much time..on your hands. Lol. Are any of you..lawyers? Better yet..any of you..have any cold..hard facts? I mean..statements(Gordon..on a radio show..stating..clearly..he had nothing to do with this group)And..not from an ex politician..lol..thats like hearing an ex con tell me he was guilty..please. Doesnt matter..if Gordon..even came on here...you wouldnt believe a word...notta. Ill repeat..what i said..when this all explodes...youll find out..who the weiners were..and who were the good guys were. In time..we will see. Meanwhile..support Mel..all we can.
 
And..if you talk to Mel..as you say.(cough) you do. Do this. He is making hisself look just as bad as anyone..by not personally making a statement..or..talking publicily about this. Nothing..notta. So..if you talk to Mel..as you..say you do...might be a good idea..since this is all..hearsay to this point..other than court documents...which mean nothing to a racer...make a stand...make a statement. I dont care..call the papers..make a ad..make a story...do something..to spread the word...more!!!!! Because..i dont see much...as far as that going..to be honest. Seems this thread..his fellow racers..ect..are the ones..pushing the issue..at this point. Not degrading..nor putting anyone down..but..if we want answers..goto the source.

DIDN'T MEAN TO OFFEND ANYBODY I WAS JUST MAKING A POINT ABOUT 2nd HAND INFO.I GO TO MCS TO WATCH RACES I HOPE THEY STAY OPEN IT'S A NICE TRACK. BUT I'M NOT GONNA BOYCOTT EVERYTHING AND EVERYBODY OVER A LAWSUIT LIKE SOME HAVE SUGGESTED IN THIS POST.UNFORTUNATELY IT'S IN THE HANDS OF THE JUIDICIAL SYSTEM SO IF THERE'S ANY MERIT TO THE LAWSUIT OR NOT FOR NOW I'LL JUST HAVE TO HAVE FAITH IN THE SYSTEM. WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO. OTHER THAN WISH MEL AND MCS LUCK.

I believe in getting facts straight before I form an opinion.

Therefore, being a weekly driver at MCS and having the investment in a car set to MCS rules, I felt the need to invest a little time (and I do mean little) going to the courthouse to make a few copies.

And usually, going straight to the source and asking questions would give you facts.

And Racin90, you are right about one thing, if a post was placed on here coming from a certain individual I wouldn't believe it. You see that could be anyone, so I find it better to listen to a radio show where the individual as been verified or talking face to face with another individual to get facts.

They are the ones who filed the lawsuit!

If YOU pick up the phone and make a call, YOU could go straight to at least one source. It's not like Mel's # hasn't been made public more than a few times on this thread. So take your own advise and GO TO THE SOURCE!

And tell me why court documents would mean nothing to a racer, more so if they directly involve your home track.

There was an article in the newspaper, where Mel was interviewed.
 
Obviously it doesnt mean what anyone posts on this subject that pertain to anything..other than saying..Mel is getting the shaft..Kevin is the bad guy also...and Snoop Dog is not guilty..oops..sorry..thats another article. Well...ill leave it at this..i support anyone and everyones opinions..openly. No hard feelings...have a beer on me..lol. I dont..demean..i dont..capital letter....bold letter...do kids stuff..to get my point across. I just..want the facts..and so far ive gotten little facts and alot of...hey..im Mels girlfriend..and he said...this....blah blah blah. hear say...little word..big meaning.
 
Mel is old school (and a little slow LOL) and does not use nor care to have anything to with a computer let alone the Internet. But even better as stated many time in this post his personal cell phone number is 314-409-5655 you can call him then shut-up about hearsay.

PS: Dont forget Gordon’s taped interview that MCS is in no danger off closing!!!! And he would do anything to help, so now that Kevin brought it up why not invest a few extra bucks and join MCS. Mel needs an investor because of this lawsuit but cant because guess why????? Yea there’s a lawsuit active.

Telling people.. to..shut up..respectful..you are not..lol. Ok..here it goes. Im not going to call..i dont care..personally..what Mel..Gordon...foomancho..whoever has to say. I want statements...quotes(yea..ad in a paper..and..yea..Gordon was on the radio..as well). Thats all..ive seen..but some legal documents which..ill say this again...mean squat. We want the truth..info..no more bull..no more..hearsay. And...if you read Kevin's statment....he said...they offered to buy the speedway..offered...offered..offered...offered..see..it means...they made a proposal..to buy it..and were declined. Wheather it was Gordon..his lawyer..someone made an offer..and it was declined. This..is almost a known fact. But..so are aliens..once again..another post. End of my replies...i apperently dont know a thing but how to type. Mel..you see this..we are all behind you...i dont care..what all is going on.

WHAT DO YOU THINK MEL IS GOING TO SAY? NONE OF THE PLAYERS IN THIS ARE GOING TO ADMIT THEY ARE WRONG. AND IF THE LAWSUIT HAD NO MERIT THE I'M SURE IT WOULDN'T HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR.AND IF THE LAWSUIT IS IS FRIVOLOUS THEN MEL SHOULD FILE SUIT AGAINST THEM.AND AS FAR AS HIM NOT HAVING A COMPUTER OR INTERNET HEY IT'S 2006 AND I THINK IT'S TIME FOR HIM TO GET ONE OR TELL HIS SO CALLED BUDDIES TO CALM DOWN WITH MAKING ALL THE STATEMENTS FOR HIM. Old is everyone that talks about he said she said complains about who said what ECT ECT but wont step up and call the person they say there worried about getting the truth from. Who cares if the man uses a computer? Even better he will talk to you MAN to MAN. Funny thing is more hearsay; he said his phone hasn’t rung!!!!

PS: Getting caught in a lie and/or constantly changing stories to blow smoke up everyone **** is old also, but amusing never the less!!!!!!

Glen: You must be very young if you still have faith in the system. I have worked in the legal field for 24 years and I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO FAITH IN THE SYSTEM WHATSOEVER!!!! Do you remember O. J.?

racin90 - You probably won't understand this because it is not misspelled or written in incomplete sentences with a zillion periods as punctuation - but, people . . . . . who are actively involved . . . . . . . in a lawsuit are generally advised by the counsel (attorney, lawyer, etc.) . . . . . . . . not to make public statements about that lawsuit . . . . . . . . . . because those statements can be used against them in court (particularly if those statements are lies and the particular parties who claim to not be involved are repeatedly telling lies that can be proven to be lies) That probably won't work well in court.

YEAH I REMEMBER O. J. HE BEAT THE SYSTEM. HE'S NOT ON MY CHRISTMAS LIST THAT'S FOR SURE. IF 36 IS YOUNG WELL I GUESS I AM. ALL I'M SAYING (and i support mcs) IS THAT IF SOMEBODY WANTS TO FILE A LAWSUIT THATS THEIR RIGHT. WE MAY NOT AGREE WITH THE LAWSUIT BUT WHAT SENSIBLE THING CAN YOU DO? With all due respect. 36 is certainly not that young. :D :D I guess I have just been jaded by so many years in the system. Things are not always fair and lawsuits don't always come out the right way no matter what we are told. Most of the time the party with the most money wins (except in Southern Illinois, of course) So you know, not everyone on here is going by hearsay as you say. I have actually read most of the court documents and kept pretty up to date on what is really going on in this case. The facts are the facts even if they are too ugly to contemplate by some people. Kevin and his father have made various statements both publicly and privately which have proven to be false. Where I come from those types of things are called lies, plain and simple. Call it whatever you want. As far as boycotting. I have a right to spend my money wherever and however I chose and I make no secret of the fact that I do not chose to spend my money at TCS now or until it is no longer under the current ownership. Not trying to argue. I am just saying what I think.

Thank you Kevin..for at least..attempting to tell these people...that what the statment you made..or..even make..are true.Bigger man than some And DieHard and Eat Dirt..ill relay a little something to you. I dont appreciate a personal shot at me..for my typing or the way i communicate and using to sound like i am..lets say..stupid? There is a reason..i type this way and i hope..you feel really good putting me down for this condition i do have. Sometimes its worse..sometimes its not. But doesnt matter. If someone paralyzed and had to use a keyboard to relay their thoughts..and probably couldnt do that well..would you say..those type of things to them?? I cant believe the way..some of you respond..to people..who respond on this issue. I respect..read this word...respect your views. Do so of mine also..please..respectfully.
 
I hope it comes to a end soon either way,get this bickering over with once and for all and then once its over the REAL truth will be know!!!!

I don't know what you do and really don't care. Your comment about Mel offering to sell the track to your Dad goes right in line with what most of us think about the situation anyway. What part of forcing the man to sell his most precious possession out of desparation makes it okay with you? I am pretty sure Mel would never have made such an offer - if he really did - had this lawsuit not been a factor. Does anyone else honestly believe he would have? Why on earth would he have gone into the business in the first place if he was planning to sell out a couple years later? How in the world does Mel's alleged offer at all justify the argument that your Dad was not involved? To me it looks as though, if it is true that Mel's attorney made that offer, then your Dad has won all the marbles anyway. I guess, being the good businessman that he is and declining the offer as you say he did, he will now wait for the price to drop lower as Mel gets more desparate and then, like the savior he claims to be of Mel, he will swoop in and save Mel from complete financial ruin all the while telling everyone what a great guy he is for helping the man out. Then what happens? TCS goes back to Sundays and you run both tracks? Or, maybe MCS switches to Sundays and eliminates any competition for TCS on whatever night you chose to run. Win-win situation for you any way you look at it. How do you think you would feel if someone harrassed you with a lawsuit until you were forced to sell out? Oh yeah that could not happen to you because you have the money to fight that kind of thing don't ya? I guess I just don't get it at all do I?
