go to a's and h's only, the problem with only h's is only 27.5 size tires.
i know i dont know anything, but i think sportman should go to asphalt take off tires. the only major problem i would think of is if the late model guys got mad because the sportsman point fund would be bigger than theirs. a new 10" aero regular wheel is $65, i have been told these tracks can get truck loads of these tires just for the cost of shipping. if pevely has an average of 25 cars a night, and the average guy used 10 tires in one year and they sold each tire for $25, how much money would that be kids? that would be $6250. however, if a fresh tire was only $25 and not $115 or so, i bet there would be guys willing to buy one or even 2 tires a night. yeah, this is rediculous, but if pevely had 25 cars buy 2 tires a night, and got 16 nights in, and the track paid $5 a tire and sold them for $25 a tire that would be a $16,000 profit by my calculations. the current sportsman point fund is $2575. i am just saying you could go buy a new 10" wheel and an ashpalt take off tire for about $30 less for than an EMOD. the only reason i get to not go to a's and h's only or to asphalt tires is the hoosier tire point money they give allied and highland. if my tire bill went from 15 emods ($115) at $1725 to 30 asphalt tires at $25 each for a total of $750 for the year, i wouldnt need a point check. and i would swear a take off would last a lot longer than an emod. maybe this is why we see officials always wearing hoosier tire jackets. anybody follow that?
