i called your attention before to post number 15 before, mr. dearing... who openly admitted not thinking to take a picture of the tire. i just basically re-stated what you said. i did not even suggest there really wasnt a tire at all. now, who's the liar now, huh, dearing? it seems like it is...
don't hold your breath waiting for a reply on that one.. i got accused of something similar earlier this thread, and still waiting for a reply. as deep as this is by now(21 plus pages and still growing) if somebody knew something rock solid, it would have been revealed by now... just stone...
wow, that is a freak and sad deal, and wish her the best(absolutly), but that is what tie downs/bungee cords are for. people in a hurry sometimes dont make the best decisions. not bashing her at all, anybody reading this think about this in the future.. slow down just a tick, and be safe.
i was kinda bored earlier, and i remembered a post on here a few years ago dealing with a very well known and liked local racing legend and tire prep. so, i did a search and found it. the thread was called "strange observations".. dated june of '08. if you go back and find it,, not one person on...
this sounds very likely to me. it is also very possible that some of the folks on here that are posting the negative comments are just blindly agreeing with the self appointed 'tire policeman' just because it may be the popular thing to do. i have never used this man's product, and do not...
i suppose if ump's little sniffer cant detect it, and the lab cant detect it, then i guess epa cant detect it either. no crime, no foul. this is much 'ado' about nothing.case closed.. next?
i dont really 'get' what all the talk is about epa. take a look at most any racetrack at the end of the night's racing. all that black out there is rubber ground into the dirt. rubber is full of chemicals; read that petroleum, oil, and petroleum by-products;even that brand new hoosier straight...
when this thread dies down a bit, and slowly fades to back pages, maybe the 'tire policeman' could focus his energies on the "$2.50 for a cup of ice" scandal at one local track a week or so ago. that affected more spectators than this does.
i am still waiting for any shred of evidence i called anyone a liar. i think someone's on a "witch hunt" of sorts. wild baseless accusations are all i see.
mr. dearing, please go back and re-read post number 15... by YOU!! tell me again about who said what on here. i basically said what you did, slightly different.. me, calling you a liar? a bit of an exaggeration, i think....as i said before; be impartial, factual and accurate.
mr. dearing.. i went back and re-read EVERYTHING I POSTED on this subject, and not once did i call/try to call you a liar. not once!!! tell me how you could get that out of what i posted? if you are referring to the"keep it factual and accurate" statement i made, then i guess i gotta spell it...
mr. dearing, i dont claim to be an expert, but i have gone/seen/ did in my years.... so; i can run my mouth. just because i dont regularly go to tcs and 1-55 like you do, dont mean i dont have knowledge of the sport. you have a definite agenda here(although you claim not), and have taken it...
i dont have a 'dog in this fight', so to speak, and i could care less who does what to their tires, shocks, engine, trans, whatever.. thats SOLELY a competitor's and sanctioning body issue..but i do know that if there was not a demand for this type of product, then the man wouldnt be in...
i meant to say " remaining IMPARTIAL is a must". sorry for my error..... also, it was not specifically stated if that tire in question was actually used in competition. if it was not used, then no rules were broken. if it was used, then i dont see that it's anybody's business but ump"s...
i would think mr. dearing classifies himself as a member of the media, and, as a member of the media, remaining partial is a must. i dont see that very often. jmo.
