07-08 Blues thread

I still think the taco deal is bogus. I know they say theyre trying but like I'm really gonna drive all the way down there for a free taco. I think maybe we should all buy a taco and take it to the game with us and eat it right after the anthem. Maybe Hardees, Jack or even Burger King could jump in and save the taco promo of old.
 
They need to do something else about the taco's. I'd rather see KMOX and White Castle get in on it and offer crave cases for $11.20 after five goals are scored.

How about hearing the crowd chant "Haaaarooold .....Haaaarooooold.......Haaaarooooold" in the Old Barn. That would be Harold Snepts, a true cult hero.
 
Al MacInnis will be honored tonight before the game against the Bluejackets. Could'nt happen to a more classier guy. 'Chopper' had a great career as a Blue, I just wish he could've won a cup while he was here. The 'Scott' should be rocking tonight especially if the Blues come out fast and score first. Fight's tonight- Shelley (if jacket's coach B!tchcock dresses him) v.s. D.J. King (if Murray dresses him) and round 2 Jared Boll v.s. Jamal Mayers. The Blues need to build on the Wings victory.
 
Another win for the Blues! Super penalty kill and Kariya had a geat pass from behind the net.

MacInnis will get a statue out front, thats cool. :)

I wonder if Hull will ever get a statue here or is the street naming thing pretty much the extent of his recognition?
 
I really hope that the don't give Hall one. Never liked the guy, I'm not saying he couldn't play hockey but I don't think his number need to be retired.

Great game by the Blues. Lets get another win tomorrow night.
 
Seen Jimmy D in the hollows last night couldn't catch up to him. What an awsome win, the refs were trying to give it to CBJ's. After the penalty to mayers in the third which got that whole mess started after he got out of the box and we were at a break he went over and let the zebras know what he thought of the call along with weight,It didn't look like they liked it. When they called those penaltys I thought Murray was going to jump on the ice and whoop some zebra azz. The crowd was one of those you could tell came for the spectacle and not the game, around us there was very little cheering clapping or enthusiasm but we got through. I'll take Tuesdays crowd every game.GO BLUES!!!!!!!!!
